I took a book of Colombian birds from my library, it is a sad book, because they are threatened birds. It is called the red book of the birds of Colombia, it is an idea directed by several people, including natural science institutions, such as Humboldt and other conservation groups.
I explored all the options, along with a brown tail curlew, looking for a species from my region, to do something beautiful. Many birds are in danger, others in critical condition, is the largest book, of all groups that are amanezados.
Finally we love Andigena laminirostris, a bird of varied colors, lives in Nariño and needs protection. The toucan of the mountain is called, the indiscriminate felling
it has destroyed its habitat and is in danger; in reservations such as La Planada, your flight can be seen constant, however, is a species considered delicate.
Colorful fabrics were cut to start forming the desired bird, so I will carry a message of conservation, wherever I go, with my beautiful colored brooch.
A black, white and red beak, used to eat fruits and coleoptera insects, is the first thing we do about the funny bird, which lives in humid and overcast forests
It has a bluish body, which makes it seem part of the enchanted sky, in the whole world it is considered almost threatened, by the loss of its population.
It also has yellows and reds, on the lower part of its pompous abdomen; the colors in the birds are used to attract the female. March and July are the preferred months to fill nests with children, they must be grayish chicks, to avoid being seen by macabre predators.
The brown wings, a long tail of iridescent green, ends in red, we almost finished the multicolored bird. So much beauty, has generated the desire to have her, very malicious people, capture this bird to sell it as a pet.
Here is Andigena laminirostris, with a large beak and many colorations, say that the females differ from the males, because they have a longer beak.
After looking closely at the bird, I came to the conclusion that it is a young male, because of the big peak.
Now I will take it everywhere, with yellow, black and purple clothes, so when someone looks at it, I’ll tell him it’s a bird that lives in Nariño. The conservation of the species is everyone’s job, that’s why you should teach your young children that life should be taken care of and value must be given to ecosystems.
